El Toro Rant. I hate serving kids.

and by kids, I mean bitches in high school [who don’t tip, of course]. A few dudes I recognize, come in & sit down to eat at El Toro. I treat every table like I’m going to get a good tip & I’m one of the most attentive servers i know, but these 3 dudes spend $50.00 and leave me a $1 in the check presenter….

It’s the biggest “Fuck you.” tip, I’ve ever gotten from working there & to any waiter who takes care of your hungry ass.

If they come back, Imma greet their asses like

& walk away..

I get paid like $2.13 an hour, crusty white boys. If you don’t have enough $$$ to pay for your food PLUS an adequate tip, take your ass to a drive-thru.

Today. 10/08/2011

Worked from 11am to 5. I waited tables like I was official and made nearly $100 that I couldn’t keep! Since I’m still in training I’m not on the floor yet. Puts into perspective how much I’ll be making every other shift.

After work, took an hour drive in some RAIN with my bro tyler and that girl tiffany to a hooka joint and cultural food place. Saw the OFFICIAL Talabi Law Firm billboard on the way there. Soo official.

Puff, Puff.

Had a good relaxation time. Good talks. Good laughs. Just what a few college kids need out of the everyday stresses of education and working hard!

Later that night, hit up a place called Hafez. DELICIOUS Mediterranean and various cultural foods. Love these guys. Many more nights like these to come. And more company :)

Which is funny because it REALLY isn’t butter… And in reality, I see this.

But anyway, I remember being a toddler and seein’ that big yellow tub. Butter for my bread, my pop tart, and my pancakes. Oh hell yes. 

& I also especially like the butter from the Cheesecake Factory at the Galleria. OMG..

No, I don’t have a problem. I just like butter.
